News: He's got a date this fall with the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
Sierra Entertainment has announced they are bringing Leisure Suit Larry back this fall with Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. The game will be developed by Team17 and the team has already said the game will receive a Mature rating.
Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust will, naturally, take place in Hollywood as Larry takes a job at his Uncle Larry's movie studio. The adventure will continue with "open world sandbox play" as Larry takes on odd jobs and solves puzzles around the lot. Eventually, he will have to take down a mole from a rival studio. The game will also feature a Directors mini-game that allows the player to create their very own "Larry Feature."
The game will include a ton of Hollywood talent on both the writing and acting sides. Allen Covert (best known for writing Grandma's Boy) will be penning the "innuendo-laden" script while Jay Mohr, Dave Attell, Shannon Elizabeth, Carmen Electra, Artie Lange, Patrick Warburton, Jeffrey Tambor, Nikki Cox, Peter Graves, Jane Lynch and Josh Keaton (as the voice of Larry Loveage) will all supply voicework to the game.
We'll have more on Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust soon.
