News: Funcom has delayed their Online RPG another eight weeks for added polish.
Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures has been delayed for a fourth time by developer Funcom. The latest delay sees the Online RPG being pushed back from March 2008 till May 20, 2008 but at least gamers have a concrete date to look forward to now. Originally expected as a Q1 2006 release, Funcom delayed the brutality to mid-2007, then late October 2007 and most recently to March 2008.
Delays are always sad but at least Funcom had a solid reason for the choice. The company decided to use the additional eight weeks to "stress game systems and polish the game further,Ф which should be accepted by any gamer as a sound reason for a small delay. Game director Gaute Godager had the following to add, "Even though we regret delaying the launch, I am certain we made the right choice." Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures Beta will continue until launch.
