News: The company lays out their 2008 strategy in a new financial filing.

Ubisoft's latest financial report has let a big cat out of the bag: a new Prince of Persia game is in development and will be released sometime between April 1, 2008 and March 31, 2009. No details were revealed about the untitled new entry in the series, but I'm sure we'll learn more soon.

The company also revealed that the (for now) PS3-exclusive shooter Haze will also be released sometime in the April 1, 2008 through March 31, 2009 timeframe. It previously had a March 2008 release date.

Ubisoft has a bunch of other titles planned for the April 1, 2008 through March 31, 2009 fiscal year including:

  • Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction (PC, Xbox 360)
  • Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
  • Brothers in Arms: Double Time (Wii)
  • Far Cry 2 (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
  • Anno 1701 (DS)
  • Tom Clancy's EndWar (PS3, Xbox 360)
  • Shaun White Snowboarding (Platforms TBA)
  • Tom Clancy's Air Combat (Platforms TBA)

The company will also release new games in the Petz, Imagine and My Coach franchises as well as a new line of casual games.

We'll have more on all of Ubisoft's 2008 offerings soon.
