News: Oh yes, there will be blood.

Last June, Brash Entertainment announced they had begun work on twelve movie tie-in games and the first game on the list was a game based on the horror hit Saw. Today, IGN is reporting that Brash has unveiled the first details about the Saw game during a press event.

"You as game journalists are wasting your lives."

These are the words of Jigsaw, the demented "hero" of the Saw franchise, who tests the will of those he deems ungrateful by placing them in complicated deathtraps.

According to IGN, the game is scheduled for an October 2009 release (which is right around the time Saw VI should be hitting theaters). It will be powered by the Unreal Engine 3 (meaning a PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 release is possible).

The game will "weave in and out of the Saw movie plotlines" and the filmmakers are very involved in the production.

We'll have more soon, but in the mean time, the game's official site is now live at WhoIsJigsaw.com.
