News: Sweet Tooth is coming.

David Jaffe has confirmed to Kotaku that a Twisted Metal game is coming to the PS3 and that it will developed by Jaffe's company Eat Sleep Play.

The confirmation comes after gamers discovered a number substitution code in Twisted Metal: Head On Extra Twisted Edition for the PS2 that revealed the phrase "Metal Is Coming On PS Three."

Kotaku then contacted Jaffe for the full scoop and he confirmed that the series will jump to the PS3 soon. However, Jaffe was slightly cagey about whether the game would be on a Blu-Ray disc or whether it would appear on his (beloved) PlayStation Network:

"As for how it gets distributed, no comment :)"

We'll hopefully have more on the next-gen iteration of Twisted Metal soon.
