News: Nuclear launch on hold?
MTV Multiplayer's Stephen Totilo, caught up with Blizzard co-founder Frank Pearce for a nice chat at DICE 2008. During their chat, the subject about a list of canceled Blizzard games that were shown off at the summit came up and why one game in particular was not on it... Starcraft: Ghost.
As it turns out, Starcraft: Ghost was never actually canceled, merely put on the back-burner for Blizzard to focus on their bigger projects: World of Warcraft and Starcraft II.
Frank Pearce had this to say:
"It never was technically canceled. It's just a focus thing for us right now. We've got a finite amount of development resources and a lot of different things that we want to focus on so there's always the possibility, but right now we're spending our time on УWorld of WarcraftФ and our expansion УWrath of the Lich KingФ and УStarCraft II.Ф
Now maybe the world can sleep better knowing that Starcraft: Ghost still exists.
