News: Wii have release dates on a lot of Wii stuff. Wii love it.

The Game Developer's Conference is in full swing and Nintendo has used that oppurtunity to reveal the release dates of three of their biggest projects.

First up, Nintendo has confirmed that WiiWare, original games that will downloadable on the Wii, will launch on May 12. Nintendo did not say which games would launch with the service, but they did reveal that some of the earliest available titles will be Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King, LostWinds, an "enchanting platform adventure from Frontier" and a new episodic game series from Telltale.

May will stay big (or not, depending on how often you use it) with the U.S. launch of Wii Fit on May 19. The Wii exericising game has already sold over a million copies in Japan and will likely make a large splash in America as well.

Finally, Nintendo Europe announced that Mario Kart Wii will ship on April 11. That's much sooner than anyone could have anticipated and while Nintendo of America did not confirm this date, I would assume the game will ship in a similar time period in America.

You hear that? That's the sound of the Wii printing money. We'll have more on all of these titles soon.
