News: Microsoft gives Capcom special exceptions.
Two of the most anticipated Live Arcade/PSN releases, will be receiving a very rarely seen, special exception, to break the download limit of 150 megabytes on Xbox Live.
When news first broke out that Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix would be possibly be "gimped" due to the six limitations, Microsoft stepped in to help out.
But the special exception does not just include Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, but Bionic Commando: Rearmed as well.
This would not be the first time that Microsoft has made an exception to allow a game to exceed a size limit, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night was the first, debuting with the larger memory card.
While the news is certainly positive for Xbox fans, it does raise the question of whether or not Microsoft will loose it's grip on future releases, or only those that it is competing with Sony for. Perhaps Microsoft will introduce an even bigger memory card?
So which versions of the games will you readers be purchasing? The one that quenches your achievement lust or the one that allows you to transfer it onto a PSP? Let us now in the forums.
