News: Prepare for your doom again!

Id Software is going back to their roots as they announced today that Doom 4 is officially in development. This marks the first time that id has had two titles in development at the same time (they are also working on Rage, a new game unrelated to Doom or Quake). So because of this, id has decided to go on a hiring spree and are encouraging any interested applicants to check out their Careers page.

The only piece of information id revealed about the game was that it would take place on Earth. Id did not reveal anything else major about Doom 4, but the Careers page does seem to confirm that the game will be coming to the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
