News: Sorry guys, no major update this season.
In an interview with Next-Generation, general manager of Xbox Live Marc Whitten, revealed that along with raising the cap of XBLA size limits, the company is prepping a new first-party studio devoted to "high quality digital content creation". However, the company will also be ridding of XBLA titles that have received poor ratings and downloads. The current targets for removal include any title that has spent six months on the service and has received a Metacritic score below 65.
Adding to the bad news, he also revealed that Microsoft will not be bringing their seasonal giant update out this year but will be rolling out more DRM tools.
