The plotline in the Metal Gear series has always been a tad confusing. So Konami and Sony plan to give gamers a hand with the Metal Gear Solid 4 Database, a free download that is now available on the PlayStation Store to.
The Metal Gear Solid 4 Database is an interactive application for the PlayStation 3 that chronicles every piece of lore from the franchise's beginnings on the NES all the way up to Metal Gear Solid 4. According to Sony, the database includes "complete storylines, character profiles, relationship diagrams, and much more."
As a special treat for everyone that is still playing through Metal Gear Solid 4, the database also includes an option to black out all Metal Gear Solid 4 spoilers. The spoilers can be uncovered by turning off the feature or when the player completes Metal Gear Solid 4.
