News: More singing on your PS2 and PS3. Now with country music stars.
Sony has announced the next batch of SingStar games will be released on the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 this Fall and leading the way will be SingStar Country.
Unsurprisingly, SingStar Country will be filled with country artists including Brad Paisley, Gretchen Wilson, Alan Jackson (who will all share space on the cover), Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, Faith Hill, Kenny Chesney, Brooks & Dunn, Jessica Simpson, Miranda Lambert, Montgomery Gentry, Kellie Pickler and others. The PS2 game is currently scheduled for an October 28 release date.
Other PS2 SingStar games planned for this Fall include SingStar Pop Volume 2 and SingStar Legends (which Sony calls "a mix of celebrated artists from Tina Turner to Nirvana"). October will also see the release of SingStar Volume 2 on the PlayStation 3, which Sony confirmed will include songs from Eminem, Radiohead, Paramore, Pink and more.
