News: In Japan at least.
Namco Bandai Japan has announced that the "exclusive" Star Wars characters in Soul Calibur IV (Yoda on the Xbox 360 and Darth Vader on the PS3) will soon be available to download (for a few dollars) on the other console. Is anybody out there surprised, even a little bit, by this announcement?
According to the company, Yoda will be made available to PlayStation 3 owners by a 600 yen (about $6) download while Darth Vader will bring the Dark Side to the Xbox 360 version for 400 Microsoft Points.
Both downloads will be available in Japan on October 23. Sadly, Namco Bandai did not say when they would be available in America (or what they will cost).
