News: Finally! Two very anticipated remakes are coming soon.
Two downloadable games have received release dates for when they'll be available to download.
First, Capcom has announced a release date for Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. The long in development high definition remake of Street Fighter will be coming to the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade next week. PS3 owners will be able to get it on Tuesday, November 25 while Xbox 360 owners will have to wait until Wednesday, November 26.
Capcom will also release other downloadable goodies to go along with Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. A Street Fighter-themed table has already been released for Pinball FX, an XBLA game. That will be followed up by the addition of a Street Fighter deck to Uno.
PS3 owners will get their own downloadable Street Fighter treat. A direct-to-download music album of hip-hop tracks inspired by the Street Fighter series titled Street Fighter Underground Remix will feature the musical flavor of artists such as DJ Qbert, Hieroglyphics, Redman, Oh No, DJ Toure, Mistah FAB and Zion I. Each artist has produced a Street Fighter tribute track that will be released free of charge on November 25.
Finally, one more bit of downloadable game news: Microsoft has told 1UP that the XBLA remake of Banjo-Kazooie will be released on December 3. It will be priced at 1200 Microsoft Points ($15).
