News: First details on the Xbox 360 exclusive downloadable content.

Rockstar has finally revealed all about the first, of two, downloadable episodes to Grand Theft Auto IV they are developing exclusively for the Xbox 360. The first episode will be released on February 17, 2009 (there's that date again) and will be titled The Lost and Damned.

It's currently unknown how big the episode will be, but it looks like it will star a completely new character and intersect with the plot of GTA IV:

Developed by series creator Rockstar North and set in Liberty City, The Lost and Damned features a new main character and plot that intersects with the storyline of Grand Theft Auto IV; new missions that offer an entirely fresh way to explore Liberty City with new multiplayer modes, weapons and vehicles; and a diverse soundtrack with additional music Ц all with the incredible production values that are the trademarks of Grand Theft Auto.

УMaking these episodes has enabled us to expand the narrative and the experience of interacting with a game world in really innovative ways,Ф said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. УWe hope fans of the game enjoy the new way of experiencing life in Liberty City contained in this first episode.Ф

The episode's price will be announced at a later date.
