News: When they gonna call? During their movie's 25th anniversary.
Ghostbusters: The Video Game isn't afraid of a firm release date. Atari, the new license holder for the game, finally announced June as the month in which it'll be available, according to CVG.
With the 25th Anniversary of the original Ghostbusters film release set for June 8, 2009, expect the game to coincide on or around that date.
Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, the writers of the first two films, wrote the game's storyline and most of the actors, with the exception of Rick Moranis, will be portraying their original characters.
Ghostbusters: The Video Game will be coming to Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, the PC, PS2 and Nintendo DS. No love for PSP owners, who will have to buy the game for another system in order to properly celebrate the series' 25th anniversary.
