News: You gotta have Faith...

Electronic Arts has announced that the PC version of Mirror's Edge will be released on January 13.

Not only that, but the game's first major downloadable content pack will be released for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in late January. The pack will include seven all-new and totally redesigned Time Trial maps. The maps will be available for 800 Microsoft Points on the Xbox 360 or $10 on the PC or PS3. PS3 owners will also get access to an eighth map free of charge.

УThe freedom of movement and control in first person has been the most popular aspect of Mirror's Edge so we decided to distil these down to their purest form for this map pack,Ф says Owen O'Brien, Senior Producer, DICE. УWe deliberately chose a more abstract aesthetic that is still within our distinctive art style and then focused on flow and gameplay to create an experience and challenge very different from the main game.Ф

We'll have more soon.
