News: Do you hear that sound? It's the sound of money being printed.

Square-Enix has used a Japanese media event to announce that Dragon Quest IX for the DS will launch in Japan on March 28. While that was to be expected (along with the complete lack of information on when the game will be released in America), the big news was their second announcement of the day: Development on Dragon Quest X has begun and it will be coming to the Wii.

Square-Enix, obviously, did not reveal anything more about the future of one of their biggest franchises.
