News: And it's just like Katamari Damacy!

Keita Takahashi, the creator of Katamari Damacy, has been hard at work on his next game, Noby Noby Boy for quite a while now. However, he's been less clear on what kind of game it is. Thanks to the ESRB we've finally figured out what the deal is with Noby Noby Boy, which will be released as a downloadable title on the PlayStation Network very soon.

Apparently, the next game from the creator of Katamari Damacy is exactly like... Katamari Damacy. Imagine that. Here's what the ESRB description of the game says:

This is a puzzle game in which players control a large snake-like creature whose objective is to grow by gobbling up objects (e.g., mailboxes, small animals, houses, etc.). Players advance in the game by growing the creature as big as possible and then reporting its length to a character in space. Consumed objects sometimes pop out of the snake's rear end, making a comical "splat" sound.

A character in space huh? The King of All Cosmos' second cousin twice removed perhaps? Noby Noby Boy is still listed as "Rating Pending" at the ESRB site.
