News: The list is truly impressive.

Ubisoft has announced their 2009 lineup of games and it looks good for people interested in action games.

First, the company revealed the games they will be releasing in the next three months:

  • Tom Clancy's HAWX (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
  • Tom Clancy's EndWar (PC)
  • Grey's Anatomy: The Video Game (DS, PC, Wii)
  • Broken Sword: Shadows of the Templars (DS, Wii)
  • Tenchu: Shadow Assassins (PSP, Wii)
  • Various casual games for the DS and Wii including Imagine, Petz and Jake Power titles.

No big surprises, although this is the first confirmation that Ubisoft is bringing the PSP version of Tenchu: Shadow Assassins over to America along with the Wii version. Now then, on to the rest of the year.

Ubisoft plans to release E3 favorite I Am Alive (PC, PS3, Xbox 360) in 2009, along with Assassin's Creed 2, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction (PC, Xbox 360), the next Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon title and Anno II. Two other "major franchise" titles will be released as well as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fighting game for the Wii, Arthur and the Invisibles 2 and a game based on James Cameron's next movie, Avatar.

All of these games may not make it out in 2009 though, Ubisoft announced them as part of their 2009-2010 fiscal year lineup, which runs from April 1, 2009 to March 31, 2008. So some may slip to 2010.
