News: But doesn't say more than that.
Sega has announced that they have once again teamed up with Marvel to produce the video game adaptation of the upcoming Iron Man 2. Sega Studios San Francisco (formerly known as Secret Level), the studio that developed the original Iron Man game, has been tapped to develop Iron Man 2.
Sega did not say which platforms the game would appear on, but the first Iron Man game was released on the DS, PC, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PSP, Wii, Xbox 360. So it's a fair bet the sequel will as well.
"We are thrilled to build on the success of the Iron Man phenomenon and work with Marvel and Paramount on another epic project," says Simon Jeffery, President of Sega of America, Inc. "Sega and Marvel are collaborating closely to ensure we deliver an authentic Iron Man experience."
There was no mention of the original's poor review scores, but Sega did confirm that Iron Man 2 the game will be released alongside Iron Man 2 the movie in May 2010.
