News: It sure looks real.

Shaky handheld camera footage of Dead Rising 2 has supposedly surfaced on YouTube. However, like any decent zombie outbreak, many people are assuming the video is viral in nature and released by Capcom themselves.

The video begins by showing footage from the first game before moving on to talk of a zombie vaccine. Then all hell breaks loose when the zombies invade Las Vegas.

Several clues point to it being a viral effort on the part of Capcom to "leak" footage of a technically unannounced game. The first is that the video is exactly a minute in length, the perfect length for a teaser trailer, of which this video is clearly patterned after. Secondly, the shaky handheld camera gives the video that suitably raw feel, but the camera never strays too far from the action.

Finally, the video features Frank squashing zombies in a human-sized hamster ball straight out of American Gladiators. If it's not real, it should be. Are you listening Capcom?
