The more than 100,000 votes of the GameFly Q Awards were submitted from January 19 - February 9, 2009. The name comes from GameQ, a GameFly subscriber's video game wish list that members use to manage which games they want to rent and in what order.
"2008 was one of the most successful years in the gaming industry with many noteworthy titles. Through the Q Awards, the GameFly community recognized the top games from a diverse group of publishers," said Sean Spector, co-founder and SVP of business development. "We appreciate and thank our community for participating in the Sixth Annual Q Awards and we look forward to continuing to bring them the most sought after titles."
