News: 100,000 votes cast in the Q Awards.

Fallout 3 has yet another award to take back to its vault of trophies thanks to GameFly members.

Over 100,000 votes were cast in the Sixth Annual Q Awards, which honored Bethesda Softworks' wasteland epic as both the Xbox 360 Game of the Year and the overall Game of the Year. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots was voted the top PS3 game, while Kingdom Hearts: Re:Chain of Memories took the only last-gen prize as the top PS2 game.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl beat out other Wii hits like Mario Kart Wii and Boom Blox. As for the handheld honors, Square-Enix proved that its Final Fantasy series has an ever-loving fanbase with Final Fantasy IV voted the best Nintendo DS title, while God of War: Chains of Olympus proves immortal on Sony's PSP.

The list, for your perusal/copy-and-paste pleasure, is below:

GAME OF THE YEAR
Fallout 3 (Bethesda Softworks)

PS3 GAME OF THE YEAR
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (Konami)

PS2 GAME OF THE YEAR
Kingdom Hearts: Re-Chain of Memories(Square-Enix)

PSP GAME OF THE YEAR
God of War: Chains of Olympus (SCEA)

XBOX 360 GAME OF THE YEAR
Fallout 3 (Bethesda Softworks)

Wii GAME OF THE YEAR
Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Nintendo)

NINTENDO DS GAME OF THE YEAR
Final Fantasy IV (Square-Enix)

The more than 100,000 votes of the GameFly Q Awards were submitted from January 19 - February 9, 2009. The name comes from GameQ, a GameFly subscriber's video game wish list that members use to manage which games they want to rent and in what order.

"2008 was one of the most successful years in the gaming industry with many noteworthy titles. Through the Q Awards, the GameFly community recognized the top games from a diverse group of publishers," said Sean Spector, co-founder and SVP of business development. "We appreciate and thank our community for participating in the Sixth Annual Q Awards and we look forward to continuing to bring them the most sought after titles."
