News: European bands, Jimi Hendrix, Queen and James Bond sneak onto the Guitar Hero store.

Activision has laid out the March schedule for downloadable content for Guitar Hero: World Tour and fans of European rock should be pleased as it includes not one, but two track packs filled with European bands. Jimi Hendrix will also receive a second foxey track pack and Queen are the champions of Guitar Hero DLC in the last week of March. There will also be a sneaking spy surprise on March 26 as well.

The full schedule and a list of all of the tracks can be found right here:

European Track Pack 3
Available: March 5

Songs:
  • Vanilla Sky - "Break It Out" (from Italy)
  • The Rasmus - "In the Shadows" (from Finland)
  • Les Rita Mitsouko - "C'est Comme Ca" (from France)

    European Track Pack 4
    Available: March 19

    Songs:
  • Within Temptation - "What Have You Done" (from The Netherlands)
  • Die Toten Hosen - "Hier Kommt Alex" (from Germany)
  • M-Clan - "Carolina" (from Spain)

    Jimi Hendrix Track Pack 2
    Available: March 19

    Songs:
  • "Angel"
  • "Freedom"
  • "Foxey Lady" (Live at Woodstock)

    Queen Track Pack
    Available: March 26

    Songs:
  • "We Are The Champions"
  • "Fat Bottomed Girls"
  • "C-lebrity" (with Paul Rodgers)

Activision will also release a new recording of the "James Bond Theme" on March 26 to coincide with the DVD release of Quantum of Solace. It will be available on the Xbox 360 for 160 Microsoft Points, on the PlayStation 3 for $1.99 and on the Wii for 200 Wii Points.

Each Track Pack will be available on the Xbox 360 for 440 Microsoft Points and on the PS3 for $5.49. Each track will also be available individually on the Xbox 360 for 160 Microsoft Points, on the PlayStation 3 for $1.99 and on the Wii for 200 Wii Points except for the Jimi Hendrix Track Pack 2. Due to licensing deals with the Hendrix estate, the tracks will be available only as part of the Track Pack, except on the Wii, where they (and the songs from the first Hendrix pack, "If 6 was 9", "Little Wing" & "Fire") will be sold for 200 Wii Points each.
