News: The Dishwasher, Puzzle Quest: Galactrix, Outrun Online and more coming soon.

Similar to last year's "Summer of Arcade" promotion, Microsoft plans to throw the spotlight on the Xbox Live Arcade in two weeks. Starting on March 18, the Days of Arcade will highlight seven high profile XBLA releases over a span of six weeks. Hasbro Family Game Night, a board game collection featuring seven classic board games and four Xbox 360-exclusive variants:

  • Connect Four
  • Battleship
  • Yahtzee
  • Boggle
  • Scrabble
  • Sorry!
  • Sorry! Sliders
  • Connect 4 Power Chips (Xbox 360 exclusive)
  • Boggle Portal Cubes (Xbox 360 exclusive)
  • Reverse Yahtzee (Xbox 360 exclusive)
  • Battleship Barrage (Xbox 360 exclusive)

Hasbro Family Game Night will be followed by six more titles for five weeks, ending on April 22 (one week will see the release of two games). The "Days of Arcade" games are:

  • The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai
  • Flock
  • Lode Runner
  • Outrun Online Arcade
  • Puzzle Quest: Galactrix
  • Uno Rush

For those with long memories, a demo of The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai was added to the XBLA for a limited time during the 2008 Game Developer's Conference and it was fantastic. So knowing that it's almost ready for release is very good news indeed.

    We'll have more soon.
