News: An unreleased song from the band will be added to GH: World Tour as well as an appearance on Xbox Live's Game With Fame.
Activision has announced that this week's dose of downloadable content for Guitar Hero: World Tour will include a previously unreleased song from the band Rise Against.
The song, "Death Blossoms", will be the part of the Rise Against Track Pack, which will be released on Thursday, March 12. In addition to "Death Blossoms", the track pack will also include the songs "Audience of One" and "Ready to Fall". The track pack will be available on the PlayStation 3 (for $5.49) and on the Xbox 360 (for 440 Microsoft Points). As has become the standard with Guitar Hero DLC, the songs will also be released individually for 160 Microsoft Points (on the Xbox 360) or $1.99 (on the PS3) or 200 Wii Points (on the Wii) each.
To celebrate this release, Rise Against's lead singer, Tim McIlrath, will take part in Xbox Live's "Game With Fame" program on Saturday, March 14. He'll be rocking Guitar Hero: World Tour from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Eastern Time. To enter your name for a chance to play with him, send a friend request to the gamertag GHRiseAgainst1.
