News: EA's college football sim is coming on July 14
Electronic Arts' latest college football simulation, NCAA Football 10, will be released on July 14 on the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PSP and Xbox 360. As always, the game will be developed by EA's football specialists at EA Tiburon.
The game will include all 120 Division I schools and EA plans to keep gamers up-to-date on the title at its official site, NCAAFootball10.com. These updates will include announcements of the game's features, videos, screenshots, blogs and news. The website will also feature a countdown to the announcement of the NCAA Football 10 cover athletes. A different player will be featured on the box for each platform.
EA Football 10 will introduce the Season Showdown mode, an interactive team-based competition that lets players earn points for their favorite school. EA had this to say about the new mode:
Every game counts as fans declare their loyalty to a favorite school and give the ultimate show of support in a nationwide competition. All college football fans will have an opportunity to participate in Season Showdown, as credits not only accumulate in-game but players can also earn credits for their school via new web-based games. Millions of college football fans around the country will be on a mission to prove their school is number one with NCAA Football 10's Season Showdown.
We'll have more soon.
