The more I learn about Punch-Out!!, the Wii update of the classic NES boxing game, the more excited I get. And that includes this weekend's accidental information leak from Nintendo of Europe.
Go Nintendo managed to grab the press release before Nintendo took it down and it revealed the game will include a two-player Head-to-Head Mode; which will only allow gamers to play as Little Mac and a "Giga Mac Gauge", meant to "inflict some serious damage." The press release also revealed that that Don Flamenco, the salsa dancing bull fighter from the original Punch-Out!!, will be returning to the ring in Punch-Out!! for the Wii.
Finally, Nintendo of America has released a new trailer for the game, which includes the first look at a new fighter: Disco Kid. Ready? OK, touch gloves and come out swinging:
