News: Minigame collection based on the ride and starring the Toy Story troop is coming this Fall.
If a Disneyland ride can inspire a great movie about pirates, I guess it's possible one can be used as a basis for a good game as well. And Disney hopes to find out this Fall when it releases Toy Story Mania!, based on the Disneyland and Disney World ride, for the Wii.
Developed by Papaya Studio, Toy Story Mania! will take the rapid-fire shooting galleries of the attraction and sprinkle in a variety of one to four-player competetive and cooperative minigames. Each of the games will be hosted by characters from the movies. Not only that, but the game will also include "3D bonus features" that, with the right pair of 3D glasses, will make the action pop out of the screen.
