News: Carry on Wayward Son... and read which tracks made the cut.

Activision has revealed four more songs that will make up the setlist to Guitar Hero: Smash Hits (the game formerly known as Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits). Pulling 48 tracks from the first four Guitar Hero games (remade as full band tracks), the game will be available on the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360 this June.

Activision is also running a competition at the game's official website, SmashHits.GuitarHero.com, that will allow gamers to decide which game's tracks will be revealed next.

New songs will be announced every Thursday and the twelve songs revealed so far are:

Guitar Hero
  • "Killer Queen" - Queen
  • "I Love Rock N Roll" - Joan Jett and The Blackhearts
  • "Bark At The Moon" - Ozzy Osbourne

    Guitar Hero II

  • "Killing in the Name" - Rage Against The Machine
  • "Message In A Bottle" - The Police
  • "Carry On Wayward Son" - Kansas

  • "I Wanna Rock" - Twisted Sister
  • "Nothin But A Good Time" - Poison

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock
  • "Barracuda" - Heart
  • "Through the Fire and Flames" - DragonForce
