Rock Band DLC Update: Styx, REO Speedwagon, Hautewerk @ Gaming Target

Harmonix has announced next week's batch of additions to the Rock Band Store and fans of 70s rock groups Styx and REO Speedwagon should take notice.

With Harmonix sponsoring their co-headlining 2009 tour, Can't Stop Rockin', an appearance in Rock Band was pretty much assured. And starting next week, Rock Band players will get the chance to download the seven song REO Speedwagon/Styx Tour '09 Pack. The pack will include three songs from each band and one song that features both groups in a song recorded specifically for the tour:

"Blue Collar Man (Long Nights)" - Styx

"Renegade" - Styx

"Too Much Time on My Hands" - Styx

"Ridin' the Storm Out" - REO Speedwagon

"Roll With the Changes" - REO Speedwagon

"Take It on the Run" - REO Speedwagon

"Can't Stop Rockin'" - Styx & REO Speedwagon

These tracks will be added to the Rock Band Store on the Xbox 360 on April 21 and on the PlayStation 3 on April 23 along with a three-song Hautewerk pack. Hautewerk will be supplying their songs "Alone in My Head", "I Know Where You Came From" and "Stop Start Again" to Rock Band.

The Styx/REO Speedwagon Tour Pack will be available for $10.99 on the PS3 (or 880 Microsoft Points on the Xbox 360) while the Hautewerk pack will be available for $5.49 or 440 Microsoft Points. All of the songs will also be available individually for $1.99 or 160 Microsoft Points each.
