News: Are you prepared to survive the ruins of Las Vegas in Fallout: New Vegas?

Bethesda is holding a press event in London today and they have just announced the next entry in the Fallout series. Titled Fallout: New Vegas, the game is not a direct sequel to Fallout 3, nor should it be considered Fallout 4. Instead, the game will tell another story from the Fallout universe, this time centered around the ruins of Las Vegas.

Bethesda has no plans anything else about the game just yet, but they did say who will be making it and when it will be coming out. Fallout: New Vegas will be developed by Obsidian Entertainment (which was founded by several of the developers who worked on the original Fallout: New Vegas) and it will be released on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 sometime in 2010.

We'll have more soon.
