News: No need to Shout At The Devil, 19 GHII songs made it into Guitar Hero: Smash Hits.

The polling continues at SmashHits.GuitarHero.com and the fans have decided that this week they want to know which songs from Guitar Hero II will make it into the greatest hits package Guitar Hero: Smash Hits. And Activision has obliged.

Nineteen songs from Guitar Hero II (including a full band, master track version of "Heart Shaped Box". Woo!) will be included and they are:

  • Alice in Chains - "Them Bones"
  • Avenged Sevenfold - "Beast And The Harlot"
  • Danzig - "Mother"
  • Foo Fighters - "Monkey Wrench"
  • Iron Maiden - "The Trooper"
  • Jane's Addiction - "Stop!"
  • Kansas - "Carry On Wayward Son"
  • Lamb of God - "Laid To Rest"
  • Lynyrd Skynyrd - "Free Bird"
  • MЎtley Cr№e- "Shout At The Devil"
  • Nirvana - "Heart-Shaped Box"
  • The Police - "Message In A Bottle"
  • Rage Against The Machine - "Killing In The Name"
  • Reverend Horton Heat - "Psychobilly Freakout"
  • Rush - "YYZ"
  • Stone Temple Pilots - "Trippin' On A Hole In A Paper Heart"
  • The Sword - "Freya"
  • Warrant - "Cherry Pie"
  • Wolfmother - "Woman"

All told, 33 songs from Guitar Hero and Guitar Hero II have been revealed as part of Guitar Hero: Smash Hits' 48 track setlist. That leaves Guitar Hero III and Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s to fight it out for the last 15 spots.

Guitar Hero: Smash Hits is being developed by Beenox and will be released on the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360 on June 16.
