Capcom held their 2009 Captivate press event last week and if there's one thing everyone should expect from a Capcom event, it's zombies. Yes, the company that Mega Man built has released new trailers for next year's Dead Rising 2 (PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360) and this Fall's Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles (Wii).

The Darkside Chronicles will be a sequel to the well-received light gun shooter Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and follows Leon and Claire's fight for survival during the Raccoon City outbreak first seen in Resident Evil 2. Capcom plans to make The Darkside Chronicles feel bigger and better than it's predecessor and no where is that more evident that the new trailer:



Capcom's other zombie series, Dead Rising, is also getting a sequel in the near future (2010 to be exact) and Capcom released the first official trailer at Captivate. While the game doesn't feature Frank West, it does introduce new series star Chuck Greene, his chainsaw dirt bike and a double-edged chainsaw staff.
