News: Ten tracks will make the Rock Band Store a more rockin' place this week.

Harmonix plans to blitz the Rock Band Store with ten new songs this week including tracks from Franz Ferdinand, Alien Ant Farm, The Allman Brothers Band, The Distillers, Luscious Jackson and Prong.

The highlight of the week is the Franz Ferdinand Track Pack, which will include the three tracks "Take Me Out", "Do You Want To" and "Lucid Dreams". Interestingly enough, each track comes from a different Franz Ferdinand album.

Seven other singles round out this week's releases and they are:

  • Alien Ant Farm - "Smooth Criminal"
  • The Allman Brothers Band - "Blue Sky"
  • The Allman Brothers Band - "Midnight Rider"
  • The Distillers - "Drain the Blood"
  • Luscious Jackson - "Naked Eye"
  • Prong - "Idealistic Types"
  • Prong - "The Banishment"

The tracks will be added to the Xbox Live Marketplace on Tuesday, May 5 and to the PlayStation Network on Thursday May 7.

The Franz Ferdinand Pack will be available for $5.49 on the PlayStation 3 or 440 Microsoft Points on the Xbox 360. All of the songs will also be available individually for $1.99 or 160 Microsoft Points each.
