News: Two Taito classics and another zombie game.

Microsoft has announced this Wednesday's additions to the Xbox Live Arcade and three titles make the cut this week. Two are HD remakes of Taito classics and the third is yet another game where people try to stop a zombie horde.

The Taito classics take the form of Arkanoid Live and Space Invaders Extreme. Both games stay true to their roots (Arkanoid with the block breaking and Space Invaders with the alien shooting) while adding in new features such as HD graphics, online and local co-op, online leaderboards and Achievements.

Zombie Wranglers is a 3D action game where a group of kids attempt to wrangle a zombie horde using Ghostbusters-style containment guns. The game features online co-op and versus modes, four playable characters and "a humorous script." Of course, all this wrangling could have been avoided if someone didn't build a neighborhood over unmarked graves:

Be very, very quiet ... we're wrangling Zombies! Save the city of Potters Field from an infestation of zany zombies in the quirky and comical Zombie Wranglers. Armed with a trustworthy Wrangler-Pack and your own unique special abilities, play as one of the four gallant apprentice Wranglers and rescue your neighborhood before it's too late.

All three games will be available to download on May 6 for 800 Microsoft Points ($10).
