News: Marvel vs Capcom 2, Mega Man, Street Fighter, Resident Evil. Capcom has the good stuff covered.

It's never too early to think about E3 (that's the Electronic Entertainment Expo). The 2009 edition of the ultimate video game trade show runs from June 2 through June 4 and companies are already gearing up demos and details of the new projects they'll have on hand.

Capcom has used their Capcom Unity blog to announce the games the company will have on hand at this year's E3. Twelve of the fourteen games on the list were all featured heavily at Capcom's recent CAPtivate 09 event. The final two are "mystery titles" that Capcom plans to unveil at the show, with one being playable on the show floor.

Here's the full list:

  • Dark Void (PS3, 360, PC)
  • Lost Planet 2 (currently 360, PC)
  • Dead Rising 2 (will be "behind closed doors")
  • Spyborgs (Wii)
  • Resident Evil: [The] Darkside Chronicles (Wii)
  • Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (PSP)
  • Marvel vs Capcom 2 (digital release for PS3, 360)
  • Fate Unlimited Codes (digital PSP release)
  • Street Fighter IV (PC)
  • Bionic Commando (PC)
  • Mega Man Star Force 3 (DS)
  • Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil (Wii)
  • Capcom Mystery Game #1 (playable in booth!)
  • Capcom Mystery Game #2 (announced at a press conference!)
  • Plus games from Capcom's mobile group, Capcom Interactive!

Capcom has plenty of other games in development that don't appear in this list, so the two mystery games could be nearly anything. But many of those games (such as Ace Attorney Investigations) have already been announced. However, an announcement of the North American release of Monster Hunter 3 would be appropriately shocking and would be something worthy of being a "mystery."

Whatever happens, we'll have more soon.
