News: Assassin's Creed II, Rabbids Go Home and Red Steel 2 on hand for sure with others sure to follow.

It's never too early to think about E3 (that's the Electronic Entertainment Expo). The 2009 edition of the ultimate video game trade show runs from June 2 through June 4 and companies are already gearing up demos and details of the new projects they'll have on hand.

While the show doesn't officially begin until the 2nd, Ubisoft plans to unveil their latest wares in a pre-show press conference on June 1. The conference will focus heavily on Ubisoft's "Holiday 2009" lineup (basically any game released after September 1) with three games confirmed to appear:

During the press conference Ubisoft will unveil its lineup for Holiday 2009 and beyond including a demonstration of the eagerly anticipated new comedy-adventure Rabbids Go Home [Wii], and exclusive reveals of Red Steel 2 [Wii] and the massively popular Assassin's Creed II [Platforms TBA], as well as other unannounced titles and special guests that are certain to thrill attendees and web viewers.

As you can see, Ubisoft has plenty of other surprises in store for their pre-show conference, which will be hosted by Joel McHale, star of E!'s The Soup.

Ubisoft will host video of the pre-show press conference (and other E3-related announcements) at their website, Ubi.com, beginning on June 2.
