News: The Force is strong with Krome Studios.
Entertainment Weekly's PopWatch blog has exclusively announced the next installment in the Star Wars video game franchise: Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes. The game will be released on September 15 for the DS, PC, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PSP Wii and Xbox 360.
Krome Studios (the team behind the PS2, PSP and Wii versions of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed) will be developing the game, which will take place between the first and second seasons of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series. The game will include multiple playable characters including Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, Kit Fisto and a variety of Clone Troopers. It will also include co-operative multiplayer as no Jedi ever seemed to go anywhere alone in the prequel trilogy.
LucasArts has provided Entertainment Weekly with the game's first trailer, which can be seen by visiting
the story at the EW.com website.
We'll have more soon.
