Alan Wake

News: Alan Wake is now an Xbox 360 exclusive.

Remedy has told Digital Spy that the PC version of Alan Wake has been indefinitely put on hold. The game, which is published by Microsoft, will now be released exclusively on the Xbox 360.

"Our PC plans are currently open [and] therefore a joint PC/Xbox launch is not possible at this late stage. Remedy has a deep heritage in PC gaming and we would love to see a PC version available for our PC followers. Ultimately, however, this is a decision that lies with our publisher," [said a Remedy representative.]

So while a PC version is not completely out of the cards, it looks Microsoft is the one holding all of them and the decision to release the PC version lies solely with them.

Alan Wake is a "psychological action thriller" that has been in development since 2005. It will be released on the Xbox 360 in Spring 2010.

We'll have more soon.
