News: The Tap are 'Back From the Dead' with a ten pack that goes to 11.



Back in June, Harmonix added three songs from Spinal Tap's Back From the Dead album to the Rock Band Store. This week, they've added the rest of the album (which are re-recorded versions of the This Is Spinal Tap soundrtack) in a special pack known as "Spinal Tap's Tap Ten" (which, of course, includes 11 songs).

Spinal Tap's Tap Ten will be available to download on the Xbox 360 on Tuesday, August 4 for 1440 Microsoft Points ($18) and on the PlayStation 3 on Thursday, August 6 for $17.99. All of the tracks will also be available individually for 160 Microsoft Points/$2 (Xbox 360), $1.99 (PS3) or 200 Wii Points/$2 (Wii) each.

The 11 tracks in the Tap Ten will include:

  • Spinal Tap - "(Funky) Sex Farm"
  • Spinal Tap - "(Listen to the) Flower People (Reggae Stylee)"
  • Spinal Tap - "America"
  • Spinal Tap - "Big Bottom"
  • Spinal Tap - "Cups and Cakes"
  • Spinal Tap - "Gimme Some Money"
  • Spinal Tap - "Heavy Duty"
  • Spinal Tap - "Hell Hole"
  • Spinal Tap - "Rock ?n' Roll Creation"
  • Spinal Tap - "Stonehenge"
  • Spinal Tap - "Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight"



    Fifteen additional back catalog songs that are already available to PS3 and Xbox 360 owners will also be added to the Rock Band 2 Store on the Wii. They include the entire Foo Fighters' album The Colour and the Shape along with three songs from Black Sabbath. All of the songs are available for 200 Wii Points ($2) each:

  • Black Sabbath - "War Pigs"
  • Foo Fighters - "Doll"
  • Foo Fighters - "Enough Space"
  • Foo Fighters - "February Stars"

  • Foo Fighters - "My Poor Brain"
  • Foo Fighters - "New Way Home"

  • Foo Fighters - "Up in Arms"
  • Foo Fighters - "Walking After You"
  • Foo Fighters - "Wind Up"

    Finally, PSP owners will be able to download two new tracks for Rock Band Unplugged this week. Both "Had a Dad" by Jane's Addiction and "Renegade" by Styx will be available to download for $1.99 each.
