News: Get a great deal on the game at Amazon. But only if you pre-order.

Holy bargain basement Batman! Amazon is offering a dynamic pre-order deal on Batman: Arkham Asylum. The online retailer is currently offering a pre-order discount on all three versions of the game. The PlayStation 3/Xbox 360 versions are on sale for $53.49 while the PC version can be had for $44.99.

But wait, there's more. Amazon is also offering a $5 off coupon code for those who pre-order the game. Just add the game to your cart and during the checkout process, enter the discount code 5OFFARKM. You don't have to be The Riddler to puzzle out that that's a great deal. The PS3/Xbox 360 version drops down to $48.49 while the PC version becomes a more friendly $39.99.

But if you'd rather attempt to more closely emulate billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne, the coupon also applies to the special edition of the game. The goodie packed PS3/Xbox 360 Collector's Edition is currently discounted to $90.99 and will be available for $86.99 with the 5OFFARKM code.

All Amazon pre-orders will also include a special prequel comic book, "The Road to Arkham". The 16-page comic was written by Alan Burnett and illustrated by Carlos D'Anda and chronicles the hours before Batman: Arkham Asylum begins.

Batman: Arkham Asylum will be released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 on August 25, while the PC version will hit store shelves on September 15. A demo will be available to download tomorrow on the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live and at BatmanArkhamAsylum.com.
