News: Wolfenstein brings Nazi-killing back in style.

With Madden fever firmly in place, it's yearly popularity is being challenged by Wolfenstein (PC, PS3, Xbox 360) in this week's new releases. Not only is it challenging Madden for playtime in the hearts of gamers everywhere, but Raven Software developer Manveer Heir has even directly challenged gridiron juggernaut. If Wolfenstein sells more copies than Madden NFL 10 in August, Heir will personally reimburse gamers that buy Wolfenstein the full price of the game.

While Heir's challenge is interesting, there are a few other big releases coming this week as well. There's Disney Interactive's Spectrobes: Origins, whcih is the first game in the Spectrobes series to be released on the Wii. There's also Raven Squad, a FPS-RTS hybrid that claims to be a completely new genre in its own right.
