News: Two more Fall releases fall into place.
Capcom has announced release dates for two of their big releases this Fall.
First up, they have set the Resident Evil rail shooter Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles for a Wii release on November 17. The sequel to 2007's Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles retells the story of Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield's adventures in Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil Code: Veronica using the Wii Remote as a light gun. The game will also include new chapters in the Resident Evil saga as well.
Capcom has also announced the release date of the Eighting/Cavia-developed
Fate: Unlimited Codes (Cavia is also the developer behind The Darkside Chronicles). The fighting game, which is based on the popular Japanese visual novel
Fate: Stay Night, will be released on the PSP exclusively as a digital download through the PlayStation Store. The game will be available to download on September 3 and should be a unique entry in the PlayStation Store:
Based on the visual novel Fate/stay night, Fate/unlimited codes takes place in a local town in Japan where 7 pairs of 'Masters' and 'Servants' compete for the 'Holy Grail' that will grant them any wish. This compelling combat experience for the PlayStation Portable features a deep roster of characters and unique fighting moves, while employing a fast-paced, weapons-based fighting system that is sure to meet any Capcom fan's highest expectations.
We'll have more soon.
