News: Arcade racer will now be coming to Wii and DS on November 3.
After the seemingly neverending series of delays this year, it's great to see a game's release date actually pushed up for a change. EA has announced that Need For Speed: Nitro, which was originally scheduled for a November 17 release, will now be available for the DS and Wii on November 3.
Follwing on the heels of last month's Need For Speed: Shift for the PC, PS3, PSP and Xbox 360, Need For Speed: Nitro will feature a more arcade style of racing and actually bring the feel of the series back to its roots.
"Our vision was to create something unique on the Nintendo platforms," said Joe Booth, Senior Producer. "Need For Speed: Nitro combines the franchise's trademark attitude, sense of speed and addictive gameplay with the approachability and pick up and play of Nintendo."
