Here's a doozy of a pre-order bonus. Capcom has announced that gamers who pre-order Lost Planet 2 from GameStop will receive an unlockable bonus character skin, but it's not anyone you'd expect.

Instead, gamers who pre-order Lost Planet 2 at GameStop will be treated to the glorious return of Albert Wesker, the Resident Evil series' baddest bad guy. This is especially surprising because in Resident Evil 5...

Wesker will come armed with another unlockable pre-order bonus, a revolver. The gun, which will be added to the player's arsenal of weapons, is a nimble yet extremely powerful firearm, the revolver will help players hone their "one shot kill" skills. Sadly, Wesker is just a skin, so he won't have any of his T-Virus-infused superpowers.

Lost Planet 2 will be released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this Winter. So you'll have plenty of time to decide whether or not this bonus will make pre-ordering worthwhile.
