Outfit your Xbox Avatar with a free sweater this Christmas @ Gaming Target

News: Uncle Bill sent you an Ugly Sweater because you've been good.

Are you ready to sit around the Christmas tree and pretend to look excited as you unwrap yet another pack of socks? Well, when you later complain to all of your friends on Xbox Live, at least your Avatar can be dressed in style.

As a thank you to the community, Microsoft began sending out free download codes to Xbox Live users last night to purchase a free "Ugly Sweater" from the Xbox Live Marketplace.

Regularly priced at 160 Microsoft Points ($2) as part of Live's "Holiday Collection", the sweater is pictured above and is available in both men's and women's styles.

I guess it's not as bad as it could have been. Microsoft could have included a "Pink Nightmare" costume or a Leg Lamp prop as a part of their Holiday Collection.

Wait, what am I saying. That would have been awesome! Dressing my Avatar up in a pink bunny suit would have definitely been worth $2. An ugly Christmas sweater? Not so much.
