News: More beach volleyball playing, less fighting, on the PSP this March.

Tecmo has announced they will be continuing the Dead or Alive Xtreme series on the PSP this March with the release of Dead or Alive: Paradise.

The two previous games in the series took the female fighters from the Dead or Alive franchise and dropped them onto a resort called Zack Island. There, they played a variety of minigames like volleyball, poker and pool jumping. They also cavorted in the water for a photography minigame and gave each other presents in a mini-dating sim. It looks like the PSP entry in the series won't stray too far from the formula:

Boasting the most beautiful 3D female characters even seen in any PSP title, you will be able to indulge in beach volleyball, pool hopping, as well as visiting the revamped casino resort run by the enigmatic СRio'. With an exhaustive shopping option as well, spend your hard-earned ZACK currency on hundreds of cool items, from clothes to gadgets then keep them for yourself or give them as gifts to your new girlfriends. The more gifts you give, the stronger your bond with them will grow.

If you must know more, Tecmo has released the Japanese trailer showcasing all of the game's (ahem) assets:
