Dead to Rights: Retribution coming April 13 @ Gaming Target

Namco Bandai has announced that Dead to Rights: Retribution, their PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 reboot of the Dead to Rights franchise, will be released on April 13. In honor of the new release date, the company has revealed two pre-order packs they'll be offering for the Volatile Games-developed title:

Shoppers who pre-order the game from GameStop will receive the "Jack Pack". It will feature special Grant City Anti-Crime (GAC) armor for Jack Slate, which provides an increased health boost as he battles for justice amidst a city in chaos. In addition, a guns-blazing "action mode" switches up the gameplay with explosive rounds, increasing the damage and impact of all shots fired. Token cards with redeemable codes will accompany in-store retail copies of the game, while an electronic code will be issued for online orders.

If you prefer to do your shopping at Amazon, those who pre-order the game through the online retailer will receive the "Shadow Pack". This pre-order bonus allows Jack's canine companion Shadow to use camouflage which reduces detection when stalking enemies with his stealth move. This pack also offers the visually striking "noir mode" where all on-screen graphics are displayed in black, white and dramatic blood red, further immersing players in the deep noir themes of the game. Customers will receive a redeemable code electronically when their copy of the game is shipped.
