News: EA plans to expand Dante's Inferno quite a bit over the next three months.
Dante's Inferno is now available in stores and gamers who've picked it up for the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 opned the box to reveal a schedule of the game's planned downloadable content for the next three months:
February
Soul Packs
Poet Costume
Animated Feature Film Costume
March
"Dark Forest" Prequel Level
April
New In-Game Abilities
The Trials of St. Lucia
As you can see, Xbox 360 owners may become envious of their PS3-owning brethren as the "Dark Forest" prequel level was included in the PS3-only Divine Edition of Dante's Inferno. According to EA, the "Dark Forest" will include includes "a new costume, relic, and prequel level featuring two new enemies, an expanded storyline, and more than 30 minutes of new gameplay!"
None of the rest of the DLC pieces received further explanation on the flyer, but if you'll recall, EA announced an April 29 release date for the Trials of St. Lucia expansion last week. It will include a new playable character, St. Lucia of Syracuse, along with a two-player arena mode and a level editor.
We'll have more on Dante's travels through hell soon.
